Judas was never saved from the beginning, because he never believed in Jesus. He only pretended to
This is a No True Scotsman fallacy. You're arguing that if someone believes in Jesus, they're forever saved no matter what they do...and if they act like a backstabbing weasel, then conveniently they never truly believed in Him and were lying all along.
In addition to being a fallacy on that count, your premise is ALSO fallacious because it's unfalsifiable. There is no observable standard to (dis)prove it without the ability to read minds.
Gehenna, Hades, Purgatory, etc is all made up pagan hogwash from false teachers pretending to be Christians.
Gehenna is explicitly mentioned in the Bible, along with Tartaros and Sheol. The KJV is an excellent translation in most areas, but it pervasively mistranslates and conflates those three into "hell" in the KJV. Which is likely what's confusing you if you've never picked up a concordance or different translation to spot that these are completely different words in the original texts.
You're spot on about Purgatory and Hades though - those are indeed hogwash made up by Catholics and pagans respectively.
John 6:70 KJV
7 Jesus answered them, "Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?”
John 6:64 KJV
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.
^ Jesus knew from beforehand that judas never believed, would not believe, and would eventually betray him.
So no, he was never saved. Why do you think judas was ever saved at one point? If you never believe, then you can't ever get saved. At that's what happened to judas
Once saved, always saved.
We dont have the ability to read minds. Handwaving at "Jesus can read minds and know who backstabbing weasels are" is completely useless for us.
It seems that you don't care about the word of God. You are trusting in yourself to get saved.
I am only righteous as a believer in Christ. I can never be righteous on my own merits.
Romans 1:17 KJV
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 4:3 KJV
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
