Prophecy is a tricky area of theology at the best of times. I think it's best to read it, know what is said, and then focus on worshiping Him as best as you are able without getting mired down in "Well is this the mark of the beast?" or "Is this person the Anti Christ?". It's enough to know the end from the beginning without trying to comprehend the future with our overclocked 3 pound brains. Trust that He is in control, and know that you are in good hands.
I just know I'm gonna have to deal with pro Israel Christian zios later, and it's all gonna be muh plan for God's chosen people... Ignoring they are fake jews that hate them and view them as cattle
I'll repost my take on Jews that I typed up earlier. Might put it into better context, and why most modern "churches" get their theology wrong.
Jews ARE the chosen people, however, they take the meaning literally and not understanding the true meaning. Jews were selected as the transmission source for God's word through the early part of history. The reason for this is they are a deeply flawed, selfish, unrighteous, evil people who not only turned on God and betrayed his love throughout their own history, but also epitomized this by murdering Jesus Christ on a torture cross.
Being the chosen people in this case is not a badge of honor. You were chosen as an example of showing WHY humanity is judged how it is, and why we need His love to save our souls.
No one is righteous. No, not even one. All fall short of the glory of God. Jews especially.
I've favored that perspective, illustrating grace we don't deserve, but I'm not convinced modern jews are the legit jews, but the synagogue of Satan. Even in the times of Christ, the Edomites had infiltrated (king Herod)
Jews
Well said. We do not know Gods time.
It's also VERY subjective until in hindsight. I challenge anyone to read Isaiah, with a blank mind to the events of Jesus's death, and try to foresee how the events went down. There's no way. Even his own disciples couldn't fathom how things unfolded, and they were well versed in the entire Torah, Isaiah included. It's best for us to know and expect certain key events will happen, but not sit there watching every little world event as if Jesus will return in the next 5 minutes. At this point, the temple hasn't even BEGUN to be rebuilt.
