Thanks, that was a new reading for me. Makes me think that would be interesting part of an episode in "the chosen"
I haven’t watched TV in many decades so I have no idea about this show.
Looks pretty catholic/new agey from the write ups tbh :)
The Chosen - “Although the show has an evangelical tendency,[26] there are consultants from three Christian faith traditions providing input. Acting as consultants are Messianic rabbi Jason Sobel from Fusion Global Ministries; Catholic priest and national director of Family Theater Productions Father David Guffey; and professor of New Testament at Biola University Dr. Doug Huffman. They review scripts and provide facts or context on the biblical, cultural, and socio-political history of the storyline.[27][28] Orthodox Jewish theologian David Nekrutman was appointed as adviser for the show's fourth season.[29] Jenkins said he draws creative inspiration from shows like Friday Night Lights and The Wire,[4] whereas writers Ryan Swanson and Tyler Thompson list Game of Thrones, The Wire, Battlestar Galactica, and Star Trek as their influences.”
It's done in a periodic way back during the life and time of Jesus and his apostles. I have not read the Bible entirely and the show does a great job of making stories that are related from old and new testaments for example. I have given up watching network TV as well.
