Jew insurance scams only pay out "Acts of God" when a synagogue gets hit by a bout of jewish lightning, a bolt from the blue if you will. AKA they set up something to set the place on fire and the investigators will claim that it was totally not a set up to get a cut of the dosh. If it truly was an act of God, I pray He'd strike when they were all present and all the doors would find themselves barred.
