Isn't Michael described pretty thoroughly in the Bible? He's a gigantic head with like 18 wings and a huge eyeball randomly in the center. I hate this modern depiction of angels. It kind of defeats the idea that God created Man in His image, and only man, because he loved us above all of his other creations. It's just another obvious case of Christianity appropriating other mythologies- the modern Christian angel *perfectly* resembles a Valkyrie, just sex-swapped. There are no female angels that I'm aware of, not in the Bible- I might be forgetting one though, let me know! What human wouldn't want to look like/be like the angels like this? With the wings, the armor, the magic sword, the perfect features and beauty... God didn't make his messengers like that. He made *us* like that, minus the wings and magic sword.
