I got the PM and I understand the hostility towards youtube's management. The thing is, voting down a link does nothing. It doesn't affect Youtube in any way, large or small and it's delusional to think that you're even doing anything to hurt them, especially when you can do way better.

A better strategy is to encourage people to use adblock filters. I watch a youtube video I don't see adsense content before, during, or after the video unless the channel op included it when they uploaded their final draft. Another option is helping put channel operators with productions you like get in touch with businesses that you like who could sponsor them directly. Compiling a complete list of google owned IP addressed that people can add to their browser and router block filters is even better. Recommend alternatives to google services. And that's just the tip of the iceberg of ways you can effectively vent your hostility for youtube, and google at large. If you're a coder or programmer, you can do even more damage then that.
