There may have been a flood at some time a few thousand years ago, and somebody may have built some kind of ark and loaded a few farm animals into it before the waters rose. Who knows? But the biblical story of Noah's Ark is absurd. The people who search for Noah's Ark might as well be searching for unicorns or basilisks.
Know where I can find me a basilisk? Need eye of basilisk to finish my invisibility potion. Already have a unicorn hoof so that's not necessar.
Silliness aside I suspect unicorns were rhinoceroses

Indian Rhinoceros only have one horn, so you're right.
It's the national animal of Scotland, their history claims that they were Scythians working for the Egyptian pharaoh and their chieftain married the Pharaohs daughter before sailing north. Allegedly Scotland was named after said princess 'scota'
Not sure if there were any European rhinos before Rome turned every wild beast into a circus act.
Aryans traveled to India and civilized it before being overrun by a brown tide but I can't be certain that their tribe came from India, didn't bother to check if there were single horned rhinos in Egypt or nearby for them to sight either.
Half baked theory but I think there might be some truth there.
You want a unicorn? Go to India.
