What is righteousness?
It is a legal status of right standing, also called "justified."
That seems wrong. We are justified by our faith. Righteousness is imputed on us from the perfection of Christ, but His righteousness was due to His perfect obedience to God's law. That is the scriptural definition of righteousness from beginning to end.
You tell me I'm wrong but then quote back to me the exact verse I cited?
Jesus was holy from eternity past. Comes with the divine territory. Anything created cannot atone for multiple sinners.

I think your conclusion is correct but your definitions are flawed. Maybe I misunderstood your original statement that righteousness "is also called justified". In my dictionary those are not synonyms. That alone is what I was disagreeing with.
Righteousness, either ours or Christs, is required for justification. Thankfully I do not need to rely on my own abilities.
