Okay I’m not gay and I’m not catholic and I don’t believe homosexuality is any different that any other sin. However I do know that Catholicism teaches homosexuality is a cardinal sin so I don’t think this can really be an argument.
So let me get this right. You understand something of the catholic doctrine regarding forgivable/venial sins and cardinal/mortal sins, but you personally believe god sees all sins as equal. So you believe that god looks equally unfavorably upon a person who lies or steals as he would two people of the same sex fornicating with each other or molesting children?
Honestly yes according the bible the price of sin is death. It doesn't specify which sin. Do I personally have different feelings about this yes. However I have read the book of my faith in the original language. All sin is sin. in the eyes of god, and it even gets more complicated than that. However I don't condemns all sins equally as the price of any sin is death. However The messiah came to correct that error in the program.
The book of your faith? Which is that?
