A subject that came up with my friend, and she was stating one can lose their salvation. I can think you can lose grace with God if you don't adhere to Biblical ways, however, this does not mean you lose your salvation. It also makes me question if she cherry picks the Bible, because the Bible states salvation is through Jesus Christ, it's a free gift, all those who accept Jesus Christ as lord and savior will be saved, and that salvation and good works compliment each other. However, I could not find a single quote anywhere in the Bible that says one can lose their salvation. Not even the calvinists believe that, and they're one of the more hardcore denominations I can think of

They never had the spots to the degree they have now, the evil spots were added as they grew more corrupt, the ultimate evil of theirs being to crucify the savior, their own messiah, after which they were totally given over to the devil to then do as they would to the human race, as directed by Satan, and they've done terrible evil.

What I can't understand is why anyone would choose evil. It makes no sense.

You and I choose evil every single day, either by thought, word or deed. It's just that there are so many greater sinners than you or me (assuming we are 'average normal' people).

We're born evil, that's the doctrine of the depravity of man, original sin.

Speak for yourself.

I am not perfect, but I strive for it every day.
