Grammar lesson: "Believe the Trinity" and "Believe In the Trinity" are two different things.

I'm going to assume (that's right, I'm going to make an ass of me and u) that the person who posted this video intended the latter meaning, even though he put the former text in his title.

I'm going to assume (that's right, I'm going to make an ass of me and u) that the person who posted this video intended the latter meaning, even though he put the former text in his title.

I also assume that. I make mistakes too sometimes, but in this case it is the actual video title.

What verses in 1 John?

I'm not so knowledgable about all this... only recently rejoined the church.

I am convinced I witnessed one of God's miracles not very long ago, so it got my ass back to church.

It's a short book, just 5 chapters... Easy enough just to review the whole thing.

I've got 2:9 and 4:20 highlighted as something I'm trying to work on making right. Basically both say the same thing, it must be important enough that he's reiterated it.

¶If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? (1 John 4:20)

It is right there. No one has seen God. People saw Jesus. It is plain as day but for some reason the majority can't see it.

It's all about works and not belief.
