It's good to read other religions scripture for perspective, but as a Christian I tend to keep it at arms length. Are there any passages in the Torah you would recommend? As a philosophy I've found insight in the four noble truths. It has helped me with the aspect of "how" to maintain faith vs "why", that I find in the Bible.

The Torah is the Old Testament and as such is fundamental to Christianity. ‘The Old Testament is the New Testament foretold. The New Testament is the Old Testament fulfilled.’
