The Catholic Church hid the Bible from everyone for a thousand years? In favor of their own shit version of reality where they were awesome?
If so, I’m glad there’s no modern equivalent. Phew.

It wasn't so much that it was hidden, it was maintained in Latin, with the few original texts and scrolls that they had being kept under lock and key. Gotta remember that after the final fall of Constantinople, education and literacy was not a major priority when people were dying of the black plague, and trying to reconstruct the world power structure. So Catholic scripture, maintained in Latin which is the basis of almost all European languages, was actually a saving grace in maintaining God's word through one of the worst times in modern human history. By the 1600s, King James remedied the problem by giving us the bible that survives to this day. In fact, most of the scripts used to write the KJV were the same used by Catholics for decades. So again, they maintained His word until it could be disseminated to the masses.

And this is from someone who HATES the Catholic church. I see it as wicked and evil as Jews themselves.

You're giving so little info like the foil layer on a scratch off ticket little.

KJV raped the Bible as it was removing and adding different books and making it in to what we have today. The KJV also leaves out most of what is the word of God and better teaching and writings from other who were around Jesus at that time.

But yeah the KJV is what we use today because it was the first 'mass produced" Bible in the world.
