16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Corinthians 6:16 KJV)

What an amazing thing it is, to be the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19), and the fact that He lives in us, dwells in us, and walks in us. Just to have God be our God, is a wonderful thing, but to think of His living in each believer, is just absolutely marvelous. Being carnal beings makes it hard for us to realize that a Spirit can live inside us without us feeling it being there, but it is a fact. Most people have a hard time even recognizing that there is a spiritual realm, and a whole universe of things around us that we can not see or comprehend with our five senses, but it does exist.

How God must love us to want to be our God, even though we have sinned so much and rebelled at Him so many times. Mankind deserves to become a pile of ashes, but God loves us so much that He wants to be our God, and have us be His children, and to live on the inside of us. He loves us because He is love (1 John 4:8), and not because we are lovely. What an awesome God we have and we should love, praise, and worship Him every day, in every way, for His goodness, grace, mercy and love. Thank you Jesus for bringing us back into relationship with the Father (John 17:3).
