6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. (1 Corinthians 8:6 KJV)

Paul has made it clear that we only have one God, yet our God is manifested in three forms, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The church refers to this as the Trinity, as it is one person, yet in three beings. This is hard for the carnal mind to grasp, but is a fact in the spiritual world, and we will understand it when we see Jesus again (1 Corinthians 13:12). The bible makes it clear that Jesus was God in the flesh (John 1:14), born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23), and came to earth to be the sinless sacrificial Lamb (John 1:29), to take away the sins of the world.

The marvelous fact that we are a part of the body of Jesus, if we have been born again, makes us also a part of God, as they are one (John 10:30). What a concept, and if you can just realize that your born again spirit is the very spirit of Jesus (Galatians 4:6), then you can begin to know that you have the very power of God living within you. We have the same, raising from the dead, power living in us as Jesus had in him while walking on this earth. No wonder we can have the power to cure sicknesses and illnesses, and lay hands on the sick and see them healed, and cast out demons, and even raise the dead. That is what Jesus told us to do (John 14:12), and we can do it, if we will just believe (Mark 9:23) and have the faith that it takes to do those things. Thank you Jesus for sharing your power with us.
