Galatians 6:2 KJV: Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

My church has noticed that as we come into the holidays, I am isolating more. This is because my wife passed away in the same time, so I hate everything about this holiday, its people, the concept, everything. I love being miserable, and basking in my own darkness, it gets addictive over time. However, my church has noticed that I am no longer going to church, skipping meetings, leaving once service is over/not sticking around like I used to. It's not that I don't want to stay, I was simply brought up to not dump my problems on others. Even if this means I have to restrict what I say and interact with, its a small price to pay for people not to get sad during the holidays. I also see it as most church people are wholly unqualified to talk about widowship, death, and what have you. In their quest to bring you closer to God, they become their own God, and usually cause much more damage than they solve

I love being miserable

Just remember that the next time you want to post something stupid about looking for a (new) wife. Again, sorry for your loss, but you have to want to be healed.
