I have Christian friends and acquaintances that believe all jews go to heaven because God "chose" them.

I ask them to read Acts 2, and think critically. Remember, that's not Peter talking. He and the other apostles were "filled with The Holy Spirit...the Spirit gave them utterance."

The Holy Spirit is God. He was speaking directly to the jews gathered for Pentecost.

In Acts 2:38, God tells everyone---jew and gentile alike---what they have to do to be saved. He doesn't say "Everyone has to do this, except for the jews, My Chosen People, who get a free ride."

(And why would any Christian want to be in the same "heaven" with people like Harvey Weinstein or Jeffrey Epstein?)

My understanding as a Christian is that they are absolutely beholden to the same requirements, like you thought, and given that most if not all don’t believe in Jesus, they aren’t going there. They also have a biblical history of completely fucking the chances given them by God, and attempting to (((subvert))) Him at every turn. The last big chance they got was God sending Jesus right into their land to try and save them. A few followed, a ton failed. Of course, no matter who they are, all it takes is genuine repentance and acceptance of Jesus to be saved. But at this point jews despise Jesus, so yeahhh.
