Needless to say, his theology is terrible. Can't wait to get more imaginary internet points so I can block him.

I am not the only one in this thread that has noticed you are being a jerk. If it was only me, then maybe you could ignore my comments. But when others have also noticed, it may be time for you to set aside the pride, learn a little humility, and accept that you are wrong.

Just look at the title of your post. If you were charitable, wouldn't you be inviting him in for a conversation? Instead you call him a troll. The fact that you even posted this, instead of just ignoring the guy, again proves my point that you are attacking him.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. You don't know him, and only God knows what is in his heart, so therefore you should back off, and maybe even apologize to the guy for acting like such a jerk.

This is my last post on this thread.

Thanks!

I will say that it is rather uncharitable for you to assume that I didn't do my "Christian due diligence" in trying to find common ground or have a conversation with him, whatever that looks like on poal.

Yes, someone called me a hypocrite. An apt accusation, but not one that follows from the OP.

I am not going to apologize to someone who thinks they are God.

Lastly - and I realize I am wasting my words here even more than usual, since you have said you won't reply - did you give no thought to what I wrote? Your whole argument is that I shouldn't have said/done what I did to/about dudedad (who has since deleted his account, it would seem). Do you have no interest in his behavior? Is there nothing that would justify a stern rebuke from a "fellow Christian," albeit on a website forum?
