I know price gouging is a sin, but there's an old saying "i cant make money off a christian but i cant lose money either". knowing this, would it be considered a sin to sell a house for a profit? i mean there is a line between selling a house for 500% over market and 25%, but i feel horrible at the thought of taking advantage of others

What have you discovered in the Bible? I would point you to the book of Proverbs for many direct statements on wealth. Look up
