You ask the pastor, or whatever he's called at your church. Since he represents 'the church' it's the same as asking the church.
I'm more intrigued about how masturbation is a sin in the first place. I mean if it's a sin then that would apply if you're married, single, divorced, or widowed, wouldn't it? Or is this one of those "it depends" sins?

Yeah, I always thought the whole Onan situation was because he was specifically ignoring God's instructions to knock up his wife and carry on the bloodline.
