I have a rare birth defect. After some life events, i pretty much threw up the table and stopped taking all medications for my condition. Within a year I went from a lung capacity of around 45% to a lung capacity of 32%. My lungs lose roughly 1-2% lung capacity a month right now, and with winter coming, the number is bound to get worst over time. However, taking the medication, the lung volume is relatively stable. The question is, is what I'm doing a sin? I don't see it as such, however some could debate it is a form of suicide by medical neglicence. However, the thing is no one cares anyways. My parents wont care if I die, neither will anyone at church. At this point, I think the only person who would care I'm gone is my dog, and even then he would get over it in a month or so.

The original drug was discontinued due to prolonged heart inflammation and increased risk of heart attacks. The second medications was just crack in an inhaler, so i felt great, but it did close to nothing for my lung function. The newest ones do work, but they're 3000/month for the entire gamut, so no thank you.
