The first instance, you committed fornication, not adultery, and that only concerns you.
After she's dead, you are an unrestricted free agent. No holds barred no disqualification.
It is not adultery if you are having sex with the person you are married to. I have never heard of it being an issue for a widow/widower to remarry, divorce is another matter.
adultery is any sex outside of marriage, and is a pretty big sin. if you eventually marry the individual you are adulterating with, you still have the sin of adultery, because you were not married at the time of adultery. Dont have sex outside of marriage.
