His spirit is real, and it is truth. This is why you can not take the faith away from a believer who has experienced it. We know what you know, because we once were you, and we know what we know now, too.
It might do you some good to look into true experiences of people who have found Jesus. Before I was saved, it was painful for me to watch those things because I was embarrassed for them. I could not understand why anyone would feel the way they do.
