When my wife died, she left me 500,000. I found it interesting that the military aggressively tries to get you to put it into an IRA and stash it out of your hands, within a week of the payout. Anyways, I started reading the bible shortly after, and I stumbled upon Ecclesiastes. And it just hit so close to home to me. It kinda reminded me of my own situation, you can have all the money in the world, and yet you still feel miserable

I did, got saved and everything. Part of my local church, and I have come to the conclusion that part of my mission is to rebuild my life, get a new wife, and start fresh. I will always mourn my wife, but lamenting and being stuck in the past will never do me any good
