14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle. 15 And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. - Deut 7:14-15 (KJV)
What wonderful promises that God made to the Jews, but it was all conditional to them keeping the whole law given through Moses. The good news is that we, who are born again, and believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, now get all the Old Testament promises made by God (Ephesians 1:3). No Christian should be unable to have children, and none of our livestock should be barren. We need to believe, with unwavering faith, for these things to come to pass, but they are available to us Christians, but we have to believe to receive.
We have been so very blessed by the Lord, if we put our faith in Jesus, and God has done everything that needs to be done to heal us of any sickness or disease, as by Jesus stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24). This doesn’t come automatically, but you have to believe and have the faith, and no unbelief, for it to work for you. David claimed the promises, as God counted his faith as righteousness, so David could receive these promises (Psalms 91:10). What a wonderful promise, that God will not only keep us from getting all the sicknesses listed in Deuteronomy, but He will avenge us by putting those curses upon people that hate us. If our enemies knew that, they just might want to choose to leave us alone. God takes it personal when anyone messes with His people (Acts 9:4-5) and we are His, if you are born again -–Thank you Lord.
