This is one of the most common passages that are completely butchered/abused. The logic of the first sentence is equivalent to
If you don't want to be judged, don't judge others.
There is, of course, no room for us to cast condemnation on others, especially since there is no condemnation for us (Romans 8:1). But it is time for judgement to begin with the house of God! (1 Peter 4:17)
Yeah absolutely. We will all be judged on the final day. We have all transgressed God’s laws and the wages of those sins is death. We cannot condemn someone to death because we are no better. If not for the saving grace, through our faith, we would be on the same wide road that leads to destruction.
We can however attempt to educate someone on the error of their ways. We can tell them the good news. We can inform them that our damning decisions in this life have been products of this corrupted world, and there is only one path to forgiveness of sins and eternal life. There is one name by which men can be saved. To warn, correct, and/or inform is an act of love; though the proud likely won’t see it that way.
