24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. 25 But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. - John 15:24-25 (KJV)

Jesus did so many miracles during His ministry on earth that those that saw Him do them, had no excuse what-so-ever to not believe that He was sent from God, as only God could enable Jesus to do such things. If Jesus had just preached, and not done the marvelous works, then people could have doubted Him easily. Today’s preachers are mostly just preaching and not showing any of God’s power in their ministries, and therefore it is easy to discard what they are saying. We need to do the works that Jesus did, and told us to do (John 14:12). Jesus was the express image of His Father (Hebrews 1:3), and did only the works that He saw His Father do.

This was a fulfillment of another Old Testament prophecy, that they hated me without a cause (Psalms 64:9). How anyone could doubt the fact that the Scriptures were from God, is beyond my imagination, as so many scriptures that were written hundreds of years before they came about, were so accurate, that it should leave no doubt but what the bible was the Word of God. Only God has the foreknowledge to be able to tell exactly what will happen many years in advance, and all the prophecies verify it. It all comes down to the fact that some people just don’t want to believe in the Lord, and nothing will change their minds. You need to be sure you believe in your heart, and have confessed with your mouth, that Jesus is your Lord (Romans 10:9-10), so that you will be born again and saved. Once saved you need to obey Jesus to assure your eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9). Praise the Lord for His wonderful grace gifts, to all that accept Him.
