31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? - Romans 8:31-32 (KJV)

Paul had been teaching about all the power we, who are born again, have by having the Holy Spirit living in us, and since this is true, who could possibly ever be successful against us. Since we have the power of God living in us, when born again, we are given power over this world and heaven (Matthew 28:18), as well as the devil (James 4:7). If the born again Christian could just realize what power has been given to us, both in the physical and in the spiritual worlds, we would be able to live the victorious life that God intends us to have (John 10:10). Jesus accomplished it all for us and few of us ever even know that we have all this power living inside our spirits. We have the power of life and death in the words we speak (Proverbs 18:21), and we don’t use it properly.

God wants to give us, His children, all that we need, and when we pray and ask in accordance with His will, He always gives it to us (1 John 5:15). When we don’t receive what we pray for, it is because we ask amiss (James 4:3), as God is always faithful to provide for us. What a wonderful God we have, who sent His Son to die for us, just so that He could again have fellowship with us (John 17:3). What love that is, and it sure does illustrate that God is love (1 John 4:8). This same kind of love is now in those of us who have been born again, as it is part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). We need to show this love to all our brothers and sisters in the Lord, as well as the rest of the world. Praise God for all He has done for us.
