10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. - John 14:10 (KJV)

This truth that Jesus is saying is something that us humans have trouble fully understanding, as in the spiritual world of God it is possible to be several manifestations of one being. We see in the bible that the Son (Jesus), the Father (God), and the Holy Ghost are all separate identities, but yet are one. We call this the Trinity or Godhead, and we know that it is true, and we have the very Spirit of Jesus living in us (Galatians 4:6), and since Jesus is one with the Father, we have the entire Godhead living inside us – Wow. Jesus did not operate separately from the Father, and all the words He spoke while on earth, were the very words of God speaking through Him. Also Jesus did many miracles of healing, casting out demons, raising the dead, etc. and it was done by the power of God living in Him. All of us who are born again, have been given the command by Jesus to do the works that He did (John 14:12), and it was a command to do so, not a suggestion. Why the church has chosen to ignore this command, I do not understand. Jesus made this same fact known, about being one with the Father, in other verses (John 10:37-38), and He was a perfect representation of the Father. If you study the life of Jesus during His ministry, you find that He gave love and forgiveness to all that He ministered to, showing us that is how God is toward us. We are no longer under the law, and not under any condemnation (Romans 8:1), so the churches need to quit teaching the law. God is love (1 John 4:8), and Jesus showed that AGAPE type of love while He ministered here on the earth. Praise God for His love, grace and mercy to us – His children.
