**Daily Devotional** **June 23** *6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. - John 14:6-7 (KJV)* What a powerful verse, and its truth is the basis of Christianity. Jesus is the way, and the only way to the Father (Acts 4:12), and the only way to be saved. Those that teach there are many ways to the Father, are not teaching the bible, as it is clear that Jesus is not A way, but THE only way to salvation – there is no other way. Jesus was the Word of God and is one with God (John 1:1, 14; 1 John 5:7; Revelation 13:19). A Christian should never believe that people could be saved by any other method or religion, as it is just not so. In our society today, it is not popular to make positive statements, but this is the truth, and we Christians need to be saying it – Let your light shine (Matthew 5:16). Jesus was, and is, the express image of the Father (Hebrews 1:3), and that means that they were one and the same – exactly the same. To see and know Jesus was to see and know the Father, Jesus was God in the Flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), and Jesus always did exactly what He saw the Father do (John 5:19). This is hard for some humans to understand with our carnal minds (1 Corinthians 2:14), but for those that have been born again, and have the Holy Spirit to help them understand, it is easy to believe.
