The god of the Old Testament is a jealous god. He doesn't want you talking to other gods. He doesn't even want you looking at other gods. If you turn your head to look at another god while you're walking down the street, he will have a screaming fit and make a public scene.

....ok. so where does it say prayer is worship and therefore you cannot pray to anybody except God? Prayer is just understood as spiritual communication and has been understood that way for thousands of years.
