My parents are catholics and they can't stop talking about Mary; but rarely about Jesus, though.

Veneration. Look it up. The Blessed Virgin Mary is the Mother of God.

Jesus, as God, already existed; even before the creation of this world. Mary only gave birth to his human incarnation. Stop being an idolator.

When Mary received the seed of God into her womb, she became the personification of the Queen of Heaven. She took the part of Mother of God by giving birth to Jesus. She was, of course, human in the flesh, just as Jesus was human in the flesh. But she was more than this, just as Jesus was more than this.

You can keep pulling at straws to justify your idolatry, it doens't make it right. Sorry if I sound a bit rude, but you better go back to your Bible and read it carefully. Time's running out. For all of us.

Mary only gave birth to his human incarnation.

So you believe Jesus Christ was not God? You believe he was just human?

He was God and human at the same time, but He was already God before, so Mary didn't give birth to His God form, only His human form.

These quotes at the top are very suspect. I doubt some of them are genuine.

But I came here to tell Christians that it is pointless to even try to resist Mary worship. Christianity has always had a single, gaping hole in it, and that hole is the place that should have been occupied by the being who is sometimes called the Queen of Heaven. The divine feminine has been missing from Christianity, because it was deliberately excluded by the early Christian bishops. But it is a necessary component for any well-rounded religious faith. You can't get along without it. For this reason, Mary, mother of Jesus, was drafted into this role by Christians. Mary became, for millions of Christians in South America, in Spain, in Italy, in Africa, in Eastern Europe, the feminine aspect of God.

The Catholic Church is only recognizing what is inevitable. Christianity needs a divine female member. The Holy Trinity as historically described by Christians is a bit of a joke because the female part of that Trinity was demoted to the inhuman level of a vague spiritual force called the Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit. All the feminine aspects to this divine figure were removed. But you can't do that. Humanity requires a female person of God. Hence, the Holy Ghost became Mary, mother of Jesus. The Queen of Heaven.

Remember the passage in Matthew (Matthew 12:31-2) where Jesus speaks:

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Well, removing the female qualities from the Holy Spirit is to mock and degrade it. That is what Christians, particularly Protestant Christians, have done for centuries. They have been committing the greatest sin against God that is or can ever be, by refusing to acknowledge the divine female part of the Holy Trinity. Those who deny Mary deny the Holy Spirit, and must suffer the consequences of it. To deny Mary is to deny God. The Queen of Heaven is an essential part of the Trinity.

20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Proverbs 1 KJV

1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table.
3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city,
4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,
5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. Proverbs 9 KJV

5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. Isaiah 54 KJV

7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Revelation 19 KJV
