No. Christ is our mediator. I Timothy 2:5. And not the queen of heaven either.

[–] 4 pts

Amen.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

1 Timothy 2:5 KJV

One and only mediator. The high priest took no one into the holy of holies at Passover, he was alone, and "not without blood."

Mary was of sinful Adam's flesh just like all of us and needed Christ the savior as all of us.

Of all of my issues with Catholicism, this is perhaps my biggest issue. Prayer is a scared gift Jesus gave us to speak to him and the father directly. Prayer to ANYONE other than them is idolatry. I had a debate yesterday where the person tried to imply that what they're doing is not prayer, but petitioning her to intercede on their behalf.

So true, it is heartbreaking to see people giving such devotion to idols.

The dead sleep.

5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Enjoy Your Portion in This Life 7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works. 8 Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment. 9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.
10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. Ecclesiastes 9 KJV

Almost every major difference between protestants and Catholics boils down to language.

who are in Heaven to talk to God for us just like we would ask someone here on earth. The old English (not Old English, but I digress) way of saying "ask" is "pray", as in "I pray thee, good sir...".

Can you show a scripture that clearly states that, please?

Do you know how I know you didn't read the link I posted?

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2 KJV

10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deuteronomy 18 KJV

Yeah, and all of those verses have nothing to do with the subject at hand.

The Queen of Heaven is a demon, idolatry, and moon worship :

"to make cakes for the queen of heaven; the moon, as Abarbinel; which rules by night, as the sun is the king that rules by day; and which was much worshipped by the Heathens, whom the Jews imitated. Some render it,

to the work, or workmanship, of heavens; {q} that is, to the whole host of heaven, sun, moon, and stars, which were worshipped in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem, 2Ki 23:5. The Targum renders it,

"to the star of heaven;''

and Jarchi interprets it of some great star in the heaven, called the queen of heaven; and thinks that these cakes had the impress of a star upon them; see Am 5:26 where mention is made of "Chiun, your image, the star of your god". The word "chiun" is akin to the word here translated cakes, and thought to be explained by a star; see also Ac 7:43 but it seems rather to be the moon, which is expressly called by Apuleius {r} the queen of heaven; and often by others Coelestis; and Urania by the Africans, as Tertullian {s} and Herodian {t} affirm; as also Beltis, by Abydenus {u}; and Baaltis, by Philo-Byblius, or Sanchoniatho {w}; which have the signification of "queen"; and these cakes might have the form of the moon upon them, and be made and offered in imitation of the shewbread:"

lol... literally everything you just said is bullshit.

This is from a series of Bible study books called John Gill Exposition of the Entire Bible :

https://www.christianity.com/bible/commentary.php?com=gill&b=24&c=7

But I know that Catholics and idolaters hate Scripture study and are drunk on the witchcraft wine of Babylon.

Except that John Gill was a Calvinist and preaching from a version of the Bible which was missing the seven books that Luther removed.

Interesting references. Thank you.

That looks like a really nice resource, cheers :)

Anyone who speaks or prays for you is a mediator. Scripture says that God hears the prayers of those in Heaven and that we are surrounded by a cloud of witnesses. Christ stands between God and men, which makes Him a unique sort of Mediator, but others can intercede to Him on your behalf.

Christ is the King, which makes Mary the Queen Mother.

So yes.

And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven. 2 Kings 23:5 KJV

42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? 43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon. Acts 7 KJV

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 KJV

Mary is the Mediatrix. She is the Queen of heaven and earth. She is the mother of God. 7th day Adventism is heretical garbage. They reject the Holy Trinity.

18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. 19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? Jeremiah 7 KJV

Surely you mean the holy quartet.

Anyone can quote the Bible and make up their own interpretation. This is why there are thousands upon thousands of protestants sects who all contradict each other.

Mary is the Queen of Heaven. Mary, mother of Jesus is just one face of this eternal goddess. She is all loving, nurturing mother goddesses -- they are merely aspects of her being. She is Isis, Hathor, Ishtar, Ceres, Shakti, the Matronit, Binah. She has never ceased to be worshipped since the world began.
