47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. - John 12:47-48 (KJV)
What a wonderful truth, as Jesus didn’t come to judge the world, but to save it (John 3:17). But the next time He comes it will be to judge the world in the last day. This verse is telling us that we must be saved (Romans 10:9-10), and we must be born again (John 3:3), as we will be judged in the last day.
The Lord will judge us all in the last day, and Jesus will separate the sheep (His followers) from the goats (the unsaved) in the last day (Matthew 25:32-33), and if you have rejected Jesus and His Words, then you will be cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15). Jesus was the Word, and was God (John 1:1), and He will judge those that have refused Him, and have not followed His commands (Hebrews 5:9). We must all believe in Jesus and be born again, and we must do as He commands us to do. It is not enough to just get born again and stuck, as faith without works is dead (James 2:26), and you must work out your salvation (Philippians 2:12), by doing the work that Jesus did, and commanded us to do (John 14:12). If all the born again Christians would do the works that Jesus did and told us to do (John 14:12), this whole world would experience a true revival. Praise God that He has given us the power of the Holy Ghost to be able to do the works that Jesus did, and told us to do.
