5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. – Psalms 147:5 (KJV)
Great is our Lord is quite an understatement, as He is so very awesome. To think that He made the heavens and earth, and all that is in them, by speaking them into existence. Wow! That is truly amazing, and something you should ponder on, and it certainly illustrates His tremendous power. And to think that you are made in His image and God gave you the power to speak words, as He can. If we could just understand what this means, and what power is in the words that we speak, we would realize that we affect the entire creation by our words. It makes you be careful of the words you say, as they are powerful, and can cause either life or death (Proverbs 18:21), and you will have what you say.
The wisdom, and understanding, of God is infinite, and to think that we have the mind of Christ in our born again spirits (1 Corinthians 2:16), with all this powerful knowledge. If we would walk, live, and stay in the spirit, we could use this knowledge in our lives on earth, but at least we will tap into all this knowledge, if born again, when Jesus comes again, and we see Him face to face (1 Corinthians 13:12). What a marvelous thing to look forward to, as we will not only get to see Jesus, and live for eternity with Him and the Father, if born again, but we will know all that He knows – Wow. Praise God for our wonderful salvation.
