14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. 15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. - 1 Cor 15:14-15 (KJV)

The fact that Jesus did rise again (Matthew 28:7), is what makes Christianity different than all other religions, as we have a live founder of our religion, living in heaven at the right hand of God (1 John 1:1-3). You must believe in Jesus being resurrected to be a born again Christian (Romans 10:9), as that had to happen before your sins could be forgiven (Acts 5:31), and if He didn’t rise again you can not be saved (1 Corinthians 15:17). The fact that Jesus did rise again is our assurance that we also will rise again (Romans 8:11).

Jesus said that all that are in the grave will hear His voice and come forth from the grave to live again (John 5:28-29), and the only thing in the grave of a dead person is the body, so it is a bodily resurrection. Jesus did rise from the dead to life again, and all that are born again, will rise back to life with Him. The unsaved will rise again also, and then be judged by God at the White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-12). The unrighteous will then be cast into the lake of fire for eternity (Revelation 20:15). You need to be saved and born again, so that you will be able to live on the new earth in the New Jerusalem forever with Jesus and the Father. Just read and see if you fulfill the requirements of Romans 10:9-10, and if you truly believe in your heart, all you have to do is turn from your sins and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then live your life for Jesus and don’t blasphemy the Holy Ghost, renounce your salvation, or disobey Jesus (Hebrews 5:9) See you in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2) I hope.
