**Daily Devotional** **April 29** *41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. - Matt 13:41-43 (KJV)* When Jesus comes again, He will send out His Angels, and they will gather all the people who are not really born again, out of His church, leaving only those that are truly born again and serving Him. He will remove all those who pretend to be Christians, but not living for Him, and all those that are offensive. Just going to church and playing religion is not going to get you into heaven. All those who are Christians in name only, and have not truly made Jesus their Lord and obeyed Him (Hebrews 5:9), will be removed from the kingdom, and cast into the furnace of fire. This is where many will say that they served the church, but Jesus will say, “I never knew you” (Matthew 7:23), and they will be sent to destruction. There will be many that thought they were saved, but find out that they never had a relationship with Jesus, as they had never made Him their Lord. At the time the non-Christians are removed from the church, the ones who were truly serving Jesus will shine as the sun. The righteous Christians will be rewarded for all they did for Jesus, even down to giving a drink to one of His children (Mark 9:41). You need to make yourself a living sacrifice, and serve God with all your heart (Romans 12:1-2), and renew your mind with the Word of God, so that you will truly know God, and Jesus will know you.
