While reading through the Olt Testament with my wife tonight, we see such concise wisdom in these verses of 2 Samuel regarding those who view God in a negative light:

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, And with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; And with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. 2 Samuel 22:26‭-‬27 KJV

God has blessed us with His word.
