3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. - 1 John 5:3-4 (KJV)

If we love God, we will want to keep all His commandments. This is not referring to the Old Testament Law and regulations, and the having to live under the law, but is talking about keeping the commandments of Jesus. Jesus said that if we love Him, we would keep His commandments (John 14:15), and He gave us the greatest of the commandments (Matthew 22:37-40), and if we keep them we will fulfill the entire Law given through Moses. Jesus summed up the entire Law with commands of loving God and loving others (John 13:34).

If you are born again (born of God), you will be a world over-comer. When you have the power of the Holy Ghost living in you, and put your faith in the promises that God has made in His Word (the bible), then you truly will be the head and not the tail in everything you do (Deuteronomy 28:13). You not only have to have the power of God living inside you, but you must know the promises contained in the bible, and have complete faith and trust in them. Just knowing what the bible says, is not enough, as you must believe the promises are true, and that they apply to you, by putting your complete faith in them (Hebrews 11:6). God has given us wonderful promises throughout the bible, and since God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), you can be assured that He will keep all those promises. Do not let the devil talk you out of believing them, as he will try to steal the word from you, and make your faith shipwreck (1 Timothy 1:19). Praise God for putting the devil under our feet (James 4:7) – Stomp on him.

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Matthew 22 KJV

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5 KJV
