9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. - Gal 6:9-10 (KJV)
The way that we keep from being weary, and fainting, is to consider (study, ponder, meditate upon) Jesus at all times (Hebrews 12:3). If we will keep our minds focused on Him at all times, we will not fall away from living a godly life, and we will reap the life that God wants His children to have (John 10:10). God has a wonderful plan for each of us, and we need to live our life for Him, so that He can bless us with abundance. It is never God that doesn’t provide for us, but it is us that fall away from Him, keeping Him from being able to bless us.
We, who are born again, must die to ourselves, and let Jesus live through us, so that we can bless others, as He wants us to. While on earth Jesus never condemned anyone, and He healed all that came to Him (Matthew 12:15), showing that we should do good to everyone we have contact with. God loves all His creation and we should do the same. We should share the Good News of the Gospel with all the unsaved people we know, and try and bring all we can to know the Lord (Mark 16:15). We should be especially good to all our brothers and sisters in the Lord, as we are all of the same body of Christ (John 13:34-35). Unbelievers called the early Church gatherings “love feasts”, as they demonstrated so much love for each other, as well as for the Lord. We should be the same way, and love one another with the AGAPE love that Jesus has for us. If all the Christians would demonstrate this kind of love, we would cause many more to come to the Lord, as all are searching for love and acceptance. We must obey Jesus to assure our eternal salvation (Hebrews 5:9). Praise God for His love toward us!
