In the judgment men will not be condemned because they conscientiously believed a lie, but because they did not believe the truth, because they neglected the opportunity of learning what is truth. PP 55.2

Do you ever wonder why some people don't have any desire to try to find the truth? I feel like I was born with the desire and I wouldn't be able to stop if I wanted to. If the reverse were true, that one was born not caring about the truth, does it have any effect on their end?

Well, if there is account to be taken in for consideration on this matter, I think it would be from Romans 2:12: “For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;” And: James 4:17: “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”

Meaning: We are judged according to the light that we have been given; however, no one can escape the judgement by refusing or neglecting the truth.

You and I, and many others, share the same spirit of discovery. However, it certainly feels like we are alone.
