“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Yes, and yes it's incredibly petty on it's face and seems laughably trivial. But you have to understand that from my point of view, you're (collectively) trying to sell me on something that is purported to be the direct word (stenographers don't count) of thee all powerful and perfect (although arguably not a perfect communicator...) creator of creation. I'm going to be particular.

I guess I don’t see the link. Nowhere in the creation account did it say God rested on the seventh day because he was faint and weary; just that His creation work was complete.

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.
