>fainteth not, neither is weary
Why did he need to rest?
>there is no searching of his understanding
Yet his slaves know exactly what he wants and likes.
Inb4 Jew
He doesn’t need rest. This pretty clearly implies the opposite. He provides rest for us. His “slaves” had no idea what he wants and likes. They were unfaithful the entire time. Have you even read the Bible?
But the bible says he rested. Every week he rests. And Christians are constantly telling people what God wants and likes and tastes in music and clothing and, and.. Yes I've read it. You?
'Christians' are constantly telling people what they 'want' God to like. They either have no clue what God actually likes, or they truly know, but refuse to obey what God likes.
God made the sabbath for man, not man for the sabbath. It is God’s Mark of authority. He set aside a day for us to honor Him and find rest in Him. Every other day of the week implies work and reflects a monument of the creation. The sabbath day is not about the creation, but the Creator.
