But after coming to Christ and baptism of the holy spirit, we are NOT just divorced from sin, meaning that old spouse still lives in us… But that old spouse of sin is DEAD… We are then a widow that can lawfully remarry… Once our old spouse sin nature is dead, we are free to marry Christ and become one with him in HIS New Nature of Holiness. So if you continue in sin once coming to Christ ye are an adulterer/adulteress, because your old spouse is still alive and well and not dead.
