In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the word WAS God. ("word" from the greek (original) logos = knowledge).
Our armor is KNOWLEDGE of the Bible (God).
God will make his move (or not) in his own time. Maybe he already has (virus progression). Have faith. Hard sometimes because we are NOTHING (intellectually) in comparison to God's ability.
I think God (who "art in heaven") may never actually move. in the perfect place (heaven), in his perfect residence, in the perfect spot, in the perfect position, from where he can monitor everything at will. Perhaps he has no need of movement. EFFICIENCY. Dunno. Just wondering.
I fully believe that He has a plan. In the hour of judgement, it’s said that Heaven was silent for half an hour. I take that to mean that it will seem like God has abandoned the earth for a portion of that trial. We have to stay in the word and believe in the promise, no matter what the world throws at us. Now is the time to dig in deeper. If we keep the faith of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments, then we have nothing to fear.
When do you think the real gospel will be preached? Christians do not know the new covenant/testament. They are floundering in lies and false hope.
Yeah Christianity is in bad shape and trending even worse. Many don’t want to hear the truth it seems. They’re too content keeping their pagan traditions and listening to apostate churches giving bogus prosperity sermons.
All I can say is keep posting about the covenant and what it means to be a part of it. It won’t reach everyone, but hopefully it gets the attention of a few. It seems like it’ll be a grassroots type surge, as all the churches are in union with Rome at this point.
The straight testimony of Jesus Christ will cause the shaking. Many will abandon the Christian ship when things get tough; when following the Laws of Christ becomes a matter of death. Then we shall see the true gospel spoken by the remnant Christians.
As the early Reformer, Luther, stated, "It is impossible to preach the (true) gospel without causing offence." Truth is not truth if it doesnt hurt.
May God bless his people with conviction and rebuke; may his truth pierce our hearts and deflate our pride.
God said there would be a GREAT falling away (apostacy) near the end. MOST people will whore after the anti christ. People are mocking God in public (on TV even), that DID NOT happen even 100 years ago (unbelievers had no voice or did not dare expose themselves as such). Before that people were put to death for pooping on religion or contradicting it. At least Christianity (don't know about other religions...THEIR business (don't WANT to know), THEIR choice).
God said there would be a GREAT FAMINE at the end (for the Word). I'd say that's happening.
I'm hoping the END is near. But people have been thinking/saying that FOREVER (since just after Jesus was murdered).
Good point. Except 1 day with the Lord (heaven) is 1000 years on Earth. Judgment day (not hour). 1/2 hour. 1/48 of a day. 1000/48 years 20.83 years on Earth. Sheesh. How depressing. Maybe it started LONG ago!! I sure HOPE so. That would explain why God doesn't talk to me in DIRECT or literal ways.
