You best learn the new covenant knightwarrior.
judaic law... no such thing. If you know christ you will naturally do the things contained in the law. Because you are born again and receive the spirit. Romans 2:15
You cannot have 2 masters..
If Christ be dwelling in you how can you remain a helldog sinner? Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in your rotten sinful nature... If you shared in the death and resurrection of Christ, by baptism... Ye are dead to sin and your mortal body is free from sin... Romans 6, 8. when you were a sinner, were you not free from righteousness? Now being made free from sin ye serve righteousness.. vs. 18 & 20.
Christians really must figure out what the new covenant/testament actual is, and what the death and resurrection is all about... It is getting late. Like Jesus told Nicodemus the genealogy knucklehead, Ye must be born again Nicp - born of the spirit... genetics DON'T mean anything anymore.
>If you know christ you will naturally do the things contained in the law. Because you are born again and receive the spirit. Romans 2:15
so you dont sin then i take it.its true we are regenerated but that regeneration is internal since we have to contend with the flesh ,the world and the devil still
>1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
>Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
are you better than paul?
> 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
if you claim that christians dont sin then why would we need to confess our sins.
>2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
you got it wrong and living a lie. you are a sinner saved by the grace of god
scripture points to this. yes we are called to live a holy life that's is much true. but we are incapable to live a perfect life in a imperfect world.
again, becareful about spiritual pride that was the sin of the pharisees
I am sorry that no one has taught you the new covenant. I understand that christians do not want to stop sinning. It is very obvious.
EVERY "christian" LOVES TO JUSTIFY THEIR wilful SINFUL BEHAVIOUR w/ 1 John 1: 10... They just don't dare read and apply the next chapter that tells us how to identify those that KNOW Christ? and those that do not...(liars)
1 John 2: 3 And hereby WE DO KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, if we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. 4 He that saith, I know him, and KEEPS NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, is a LIAR, and the TRUTH(holy spirit) is NOT IN HIM. 5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which Ye have heard FROM THE BEGINNING.
ARE YOU SMARTER THAN JOHN?
Paul is difficult to understand for those that are unregenerated, just as Peter told us.
2 Peter 3: 16; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
I listed the scripture you need to read, Please go back and read them... Hebrews 10:16+ (terms of the New Testament/covenant) Romans 2:14-15 (christians naturally do the law written on their hearts) Romans 6 entire chapter (vs. 18, 20 are informative) sharing in death and resurrection of Christ, making you dead to sin and risen to righteousness
Romans 8: 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(adultery lesson - if the first spouse is not dead you cannot remarry... So how can you be free to marry Christ if you are still married to SIN?)
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES by his Spirit that dwells in you. (this isn't after you die, this is NOW)
>Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Psalms 38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
Psalms 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
Proverbs 21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
>Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
