EVERY "christian" LOVES TO JUSTIFY THEIR wilful SINFUL BEHAVIOUR w/ 1 John 1: 10... They just don't dare read and apply the next chapter that tells us how to identify those that KNOW Christ? and those that do not...(liars) 1 John 2: 3 And hereby WE DO KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, if we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. 4 He that saith, I know him, and KEEPS NOT HIS COMMANDMENTS, is a LIAR, and the TRUTH(holy spirit) is NOT IN HIM. 5 But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which Ye have heard FROM THE BEGINNING. ARE YOU SMARTER THAN JOHN? Paul is difficult to understand for those that are unregenerated, just as Peter told us. 2 Peter 3: 16; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Hebrews 10:16+ (terms of the New Testament/covenant) Romans 2:14-15 (christians naturally do the law written on their hearts) Romans 6 entire chapter (vs. 18, 20 are informative) sharing in death and resurrection of Christ, making you dead to sin and risen to righteousness Romans 8: 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. (adultery lesson - if the first spouse is not dead you cannot remarry... So how can you be free to marry Christ if you are still married to SIN?) 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also QUICKEN YOUR MORTAL BODIES by his Spirit that dwells in you.
