Anywhere from 12BC to 6AD is the range normally given.
Jesus is the manna that came down from heaven.
when did the manna begin to fall during the exodus? 16th day of the second month of Yhwh's calendar?
Exodus 16:1 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth (15th) day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
At even the quail came (16th) In the morning the manna began to fall.
Spring time.
Probably spring with fall as the second option. If you count from when Zacharias served in the temple with the Abijah division.
I gave you the scripture.
When did moses go up the mountain? for 40 days?
Jesus fulfills everything Moses did.
read the scriptures I have provided.
Go read Luke 3.
Jesus gets baptized, then it says he had just turned 30 and then he went out into the wilderness.
We all know Jesus went into the wilderness right after he was baptized. He was baptized on feast of weeks, the dove/holy spirit came down upon him.
Just like the tongues of fire on feast of weeks/pentecost for the apostles...
Moses went up the mountain to receive the commandments on the first Feast of weeks.
New covenant is the law written upon our hearts (commandments given at feast of weeks) by the baptism of the holy spirit... Holy spirit is represented by... the feast of weeks. That is the PLAN.
Let's get smart and stop listening to fairy tales.
John allegro, is the main guy involved in deciphering the dead sea scrolls. He said that the scrolls say jesus is a psychedelic mushroom.
The people of the day understood pollination but didnt understand the spore. All they knew is it grew without pollination; immaculate conception. Also when you eat of the fruit of it you see god.
The bible describes the mana as being the color of coriander, which is like psycillocibin mushrooms. The bible describes the ammount of the mana they ate daily for 40 days and its insane; they were eating like 2 ounces a day er somthin don't quote me on that.
I think terrance mckenna covers this a bit. Anyhow, John Allegero #1 linguistics guy of the time. The Vatican said they would ruin his career if he published his findings. He published them and they ruined him.
You'll probably just disregard this, but according to Mormon theology Jesus was born April 6, 1 B.C.
Mormon theology...Bwahahahahhaa!!!!
Jesus is the manna that came down from heaven.
when did that happen during the exodus?
Thirtysome years BC.
I'm thinking Jesus was a Christmas baby. No wonder he led such a happy, lucky life.
Jesus was born on the 16th day of the 2nd month of God's calendar year.
Christians have no idea how to figure that out.
They threw out the OT scriptures so now they run to and fro, groping onto every ministry hoping the pedophiles and conmen can scratch their itchy ears.... When the truth is there in the scripture.
Just have to ask the Holy spirit to show you.
This is excellent and ties into the OT beautifully. Manna (man hu) means “what is it?” as they didn’t know what the bread was. They murmured against God because they weren’t satisfied with the daily gift and hungered still.
As Moses went up Mt Sinai, Israel was in the wilderness of Sin (they left Goshen on the 15th day of the 1st month, and arrived at Sin the 15th day of the 2nd month) and within the 40 days of Moses being up the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, thus marking the Covenant between God and his people; they erected the golden calf and broke the Covenant.
Jesus was baptized and went to the wilderness (same wilderness of Sin) for 40 days (the same amount of time that Israel broke the Covenant), and was even tempted to make bread (same test on account of their murmuring). Man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. (Manna and the commandments) He righted all the wrongs they committed in order for a new Covenant to be established. Just like the days of Moses: they saw Jesus and didn’t recognize Him. They likely asked “man hu?”
Even the fact that Jesus was 30 when this occurred; Ehpriam left 30 years too soon. He had to be baptized before the spirit came down from heaven like a dove. Fascinating.
Truly something to chew on! Manna was certainly the typical foreshadowing of the Savior to come.
Another significant clue is that Jesus remained on earth with His apostles for 40 days after the resurrection. This seems to be a prophetic time period that is in reverse, reflected in the past:
Exodus 16:35
“And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.”
Prophetic time: a day for a year principle.
