Daily Devotional

January 15

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. - Psalms 100:3-5 (KJV)

Everyone, in his or her hearts, knows that the Lord is God, and that He made us, and created this world. We did not just evolve from slime as the world wants us to believe, but we are created in God’s image, by Him, and for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). We are His sheep, and just like sheep, we need a shepherd to lead us, as Jeremiah wrote, “for it is not in man, to guide his own steps” (Jeremiah 10:23). We, just like sheep, will stray from the path if we are not led by someone. Praise God for our shepherd Jesus!

Verse 4 tells us how to approach God – with thanksgiving and praise. The main part of our prayers to the Father should be just giving Him thanks and praising Him for His goodness, mercy and grace. We bless God by doing those things, and He inhabits the praise of His people. We should strive to be a blessing to Him at all times, as just look what He has done for us by giving us all His blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). Praise God!

The “Lord is good” is quiet an understatement, as God is love (1 John 4:8), and there are not words enough to describe how good He really is. His mercy lasts forever, and He continues to love us even when we fail Him, and fall into sin. He doesn’t love us, because we love Him, He just loves us with an unconditional love no matter what we do or say. His truth lasts forever, and His Word is truth (John 17:17), and therefore it lasts forever. We don’t ever want to stray from the Word of God (Holy Bible), and we can’t try and change it to fit our lifestyle, but it lasts forever, and we should never try and change it. Praise God for His Words, and let us all live them always!

And your shepherd is the Holy Spirit 1 John 2: You do not need any man to teach you, but the holy spirit that lives in you, he will guide and teach you all things.

I write this so you won't believe the lies of Preacher men.

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

This Green guy does not know the New Covenant and teaches error, deceiving words - you should separate from heretics.
