there's no book of maccabees. just look. As for verses, check out 2 Thessalonians 3:2, the KJV says "for all men have not faith" - while others I've seen say "the faith is not for all" suggesting that like Christ instructed the disciples to go after the lost sheep of Israel, not to all the peoples of the earth...just interesting, I keep the KJV as the others.

because like said the the others are wrong because they are based on the wrong manuscripts and later revisions by liberal scholars .....do a seach in all the changes made by the modern scholars

I'm aware that some have made massive changes; like the NIV that aren't even worth reviewing - others however have been done with even older manuscripts than the KJV and are worth a look. Just because a King commission it (allegedly) and shakespeare wrote some of it (allegedly) doesn't add to its validity. Other versions need not be ignored - I will agree that liberal scholars are usually a deal-breaker though.
